What is ketamine really?

It is an anesthetic used in medicine, but it is also consumed in recreational contexts, and its use has been increasing in recent years. It is a dissociative substance, as it can make the person feel disconnected from their environment and have difficulty reacting. Its effects last between 30 and 60 minutes and can include: confusion and disorientation, nausea, anxiety, and loss of consciousness in some cases. At high doses it can affect breathing and leave the person unreactive. In addition, its repeated consumption can cause significant urinary problems, which in severe cases require medical treatment. The fact that it is used in medicine does not make it harmless in other contexts. Did you know these effects?
